Why in the world is there a touch screen desktop... Your arms would become tired in a matter of time from holding them up. Then you would rest your elbows on the desk and those to would become sore from the hard top.
If OEM desktops manufacturers are really wanting to go the touch screen route for their home PC's, then the computer needs a second tablet like device that acts as the touch screen for the monitor, NOT the monitor its self. Or perhaps something like Microsoft's Touch Mouse.

Do you really think your going to be constantly touching the screen? No you make your selection and you pull your arm away. Just like you do on a tablet. The most time spent touching the screen would be if you were scanning through a long article. I guess people haven't grasped the whole touchscreen concept yet.

No I haven't, because It's ridiculous.
Tablets, Phones, and music players are perfectly fine. Home computers is plain silly.
The Microsoft Touch Screen mouse or another viable option would suffice over a touch monitor that would only be used for a few touches and swipes as you put anyhow.
Would you honestly want to over spend that much for something like that?

It all depends on where you are putting it and what you are going to be doing with it. It'd look nice in the corner of my kitchen where having a keyboard and mouse would be relatively obtuse and in the way. Just an example.

That's actually not a bad idea at all. Could use it to look up recipes.

Then again, for half it's price, can just get a 19" smart tv or even cheaper a 19" flat panel tv with one of those android HDMI sticks....

I agree that these touchscreen all-in-ones are stupid. But the fully tiltable touchscreen all-in-ones like the Lenovo IdeaCentre A520 (http://www.lenovo.com/products/us/desktop/ideacentre/a-series/a520/) are a great idea!

If somebody built a stand-alone touchscreen monitor like this so that I could use a high-end custom built PC with it I could definitely put that to good use.

The Dell ST2220T does that.

Not interested in AIO's. They can't hang with my self-built rig.

Someone start selling 27" touchscreen monitors (for a reasonable price) so I can complete my system.

right now apples new imac is king of the hill. fusion drive, and option to add 680mx graphics. Would love Dell to make an all in one for their Alienware brand that has the look of their 23 inch Alienware monitor which is agressive all Black and have the 680mx in a 27 and 30 inch monitor. Make it upgradeable like the Hp Z series which is currently awesome except it only has workstation graphics. I think with Apple having the best 27 inch All in One on the market right now it wont be long for Dell and others to step up their game, most likely with new chips and cards in Mid 2013

note the 5000$ it would cost you for that iCrap. Pc is best for video and music creation, as apple computers are rediculously unstable and slow in the export process. They are also not upgradable. and why someone would buy an all in one to game with? Get a desktop!

Does it have any graphics card at all, or just whatever's in the processor?

Sadly, yes, it does use slow Intel "HD" graphics.

P.S.: IF you have to have a AIO get the Maingear one, since its got a REAL desktop video card.

What is the point of a 24x dvd burner when you can't buy any 24x media?
