Man, I feel sorry for the people who missed out on Seagate's 3TB drive for $89 at Amazon over the weekend.

But, it's still a helluva lot cheaper there today at $99 versus Newegg's supposedly "special" price of $149!

I bought 3 3TB/64MB cache 7200rpm drives on Newegg's black Friday sale for $89.

Intel 520 480GB SSD, 33% off on the Egg:

http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167087
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820167087

I'm surprised no one's mentioned this one/it's not advertised more. Great deal, it's cheaper than almost all of the other 480GB SSDs on sale now and it's backed by Intel so it's quite reliable (even if it is SandForce based).

Anyone know of any deals for a $60 500GB Internal Desktop HDD (Preferably not Seagate)?

avatar

Bullwinkle J Moose

Depends on the O.S.

If you want XP compatibility as well as 7 & 8, then look for Western Digitals ending in BEKT (7200 RPM) or BEVT for 5400 RPM drives

However, all the 500GB BEKT's are gone, leaving only the 320GB

The 5400 RPM 500GB XP compatible drives are still available though

If you only require Windows Spyware platform 7 & 8 compatibility, then any drive will do

I only choose Western digital because you get the latest version of Acronis True Image for FREE

Google "Acronis for Western Digital" to download a free copy right now!

Its the best deal of the year

Decent price comparison site I found that covers PC tech: http://getabetterpc.com

Might want to add, TigerDirect's got the Core i7-3770K for $249.99: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=2372989&sku=I69-3770K

Or, if you live close to a MicroCenter, get the 3770K for $229.99, in-store pickup: http://microcenter.com/product/388575/Core_i7_3770K_35GHz_LGA_1155_Processor

The link to Asus 14-inch w/ Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM, 1TB: $630, Best Buy (BF), goes to an HP computer. Also, no where on Best Buy's site do they list a laptop like this. The Asus 14" they have listed is going for $799.

I work on Black Friday and Thursday I get to push carts that day hopefully I don't get ran over by someone.....At least I'm not inside this year sucks standing 8 hours in a line handing people tickets.

avatar

Paul_Lilly

Added a boatload of Velocity Micro deals under various categories. Those deals expire 11/25 (Sunday). Also posted a GameFly Black Friday coupon code that's good for $12 off the purchase of two used games.

avatar

dregstudios

Black Friday is a moral sacrilege to our founding history as Americans. Every year, human lives are claimed by a feverish frenzy of glutinous greed as shoppers are driven to the brink of insanity by the eccentricities of this circus. Shopping should never be a sport nevertheless the most dangerous one. No life is worth a gaming console, computer or any electronic device. While they can be a hassle – you know, with all that licking of envelopes and stamping - I disagree with “omitt[ing] most of those [rebate] deals”. I’ve never NOT received my rebates and save several HUNDRED dollars a YEAR on software and hardware upgrades. Sure, asterisk them so those that can’t be bothered will skip them, but you’re doing the rest of us a disservice by “omitting” them.

avatar

HiGHRoLLeR038

Some of these deals are awesome! Thanks for putting this together, Paul.

avatar

Paul_Lilly

Just a heads up that we've added a few Newegg deals (Black Friday), including an OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD for $50. Newegg sent us a handful more that we'll be posting on Wednesday evening after the embargo lifts. Stay tuned!

avatar

Bustout

Newegg also has the SAMSUNG 840 Series MZ-7TD250BW 2.5" TLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)for $158.39 after promo code.

avatar

Carlidan

Do you see a Cosair K90 in that embargo list?

avatar

Damnlogin

Also found a 16gb(2x8)G.Skill 1866 memory kit on Newegg for $60... if anyone is interested

avatar

Budman_NC

Oh man, I was hoping that Toshiba Canvio 750GB for $49 was a 2.5" internal drive. LOL I would've been all over that. That's kind of small for an external these days. I have a Seagate USB3 1.5 TB GoFlex and I've about filled it up with backups and FLAC files.

avatar

dedgar

I wish you guys wouldn't use the 'after mail in rebate' price as the selling price. If I buy it I'm not paying $320.00 (after $20 MIR). I have to pay $340 then wait for the rebate.
If it's $340 before the MIR, put that as the price.

avatar

jimmthang

Hey dedgar,

We put an asterik by all the MIR items. I hope that helps.

Im hoping for a barebone 3tb 7200rpm drive for 100 USD

avatar

There's and ASUS 23" IPS display on Newegg for ~$150.00 (no joke) if anyone's interested.

avatar

So realizing that these deals won't go up till BF, did anyone else not see the Sammy 250 gb 840 following the link? Izzat normal?

avatar

joshnorem

The Samsung link is above. What is your question exactly?

avatar

nyjets011269

The Samsung site did not show the 250gb drive.

avatar

joshnorem

Try this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147189

avatar

maverick knight

Newegg has it for 179, not 169 as it should. Amazon has it for 169 but nowhere does it says Far Cry 3 is included. Samsung website still doesn has it listed. Is it online only or Best Buy has it? I'm really in the market for an upgrade from a Corsair 60gb SSD so I really want this bad.

avatar

Paul_Lilly

On Newegg, enter promo code BLKFRIDAY50 to get 12% off, which brings the price down to $158.39.

avatar

maverick knight

Thank you for the tip. It was right in my face but didnt notice it.

avatar

Bean Bandit

Mehhh.

Not much for computer hardward.

avatar

TheMissingPiece

You guys may need to update this, since some places will post better deals than others throughout the week. For example, I saw a leaked CompUSA ad where you can get a Core i5 3570K for $150.

avatar

Damnlogin

TigerDirect = CompUSA

avatar

jimmthang

We will be updating this list as the week progresses!

Thanks for your input!

$100 Itunes gift card for $80? Where can I confirm this since the site still lists it as $100?

avatar

joshnorem

You can use Google if you like. The deal won't show up until Friday, so just be patient.
