avatarSo I wrote the Editor in Chief....

Quote:

"All that matters is that you’re a fan at www.facebook.com/maximumpc when the drawing takes place, at 12:01AM on the 26th or that you’ve emailed us by that time. If you enter via email and the Facebook page, it’s a double entry."

There is the clarification! Best of luck to everyone!!

avatarHow to enter... the REAL way!

Okay... me and a buddy got in an argument about this... and I won. :) Becomming a FAN of MaxPC on FB is not a qualifiying entry. You have to join their GROUP. So... go to FB and clickity click your group icon on the bottom left. Up top you can find a bar that says: Search Groups. Plug in MaximumPC and you'll find the GROUP.

Or just email them as per the terms and conditions.

The group has about 500, prob 600 now. Who knows how many emails they have received so far. I'd say 1:1500 by the end of the week. We shall see. Good luck!

I joined the group and became a fan to be safe, but the group URL

is completely different than that.

Here we go, maybe I'm alone.  I do not have a Facebook, twitter, MySpace, or another profile that people can see what I'm doing or find out where I am.  Guess what, I am one of the few people that have not been called in to questioning for my "loyalty" to my job.  If you want hits on Facebook then pay uSocial for all the friends you want. As for the contest make one that does not require me to put my name down unless it's by a trusted company like Future US or Imagine Media before it.

I am well aware of the publisher of Maximum PC just like I'm aware of their previous publisher Imagine Media.  This was meant to show a since of trust in the company that I have been with for years and a bit of sarcasm at the situation.  Sorry if that was not conveyed properly.

Contests like this need a skill testing question so it isn't a "lottery" and therefoe moving in on our Federal gaming commission.  although  i have no idea how they can give a time limited , without any help skill testing question over snail mail, that just seems weird.
