Contest: Design the Maximum PC T-Shirt!
Reminder: The T-shirt design contest ends this Friday morning. Submit your entries as soon as possible!
Here is your chance to make a mark on Maximum PC! We need new t-shirts, and, quite frankly between the magazine re-design, the website revamp and actually making the magazine every month, we’re just tapped out. That’s where you come in. We're taking submissions for a new t-shirt design, and want you to try your hand at creating one. The design should include the Maximum PC logo, have a maximum of 4 colors, and be created as a vector graphic. Otherwise, we encourage you to be creative and geeky to capture the look and feel of the magazine.
Send us your design for the new Maximum PC t-shirt and you could win a $250 gift card and a few tees to show off your winning art!

Visit the full contest page for the official rules!

Hey Norm! Can you throw down a link to the old T-shirt design? I've looked all over the site and can't find any sort of MPC swag page.
By the way, I'll be nice to everyone else here who is probably spazing out wondering "WHAT PROGRAM DOES VECTOR ART!?!?!?!
Adobe Illustrator (all versions) is a Vector graphic editor. Good luck getting it in time for Friday though =P (last I checked, Adobe has all demo downloads disabled and I and MPC cannot condone pirating Adobe Illustrator for a contest of course ;) )

hmm, I suppose MPC is too good for SVG? because I'd recommend inkscape.
or notepad.

If you are a student or have a student in your household, you may legally order software from Adobe's Educational store that's way discounted from the regular edition. Be prepared to fax them proof of your student status.

I see no reason why residents of Canada should not be able to enter. Could MaxPC explain themselves?

That $250 Best Buy gift card is about enough for an 80gb hard drive at retail.

Will we be able to order this T-shirt? Mugs? Mousepads? CD wallet? Sticker for my PC?

I saw on the official contest page that only 4 colors are allowed. So, are gradients allowed?

Gradients are not allowed, unfortunately, since the shirt will most likely be silk-screened.

Best buy probably gave MPC the gift card in exchange for the advertisement they're getting
I'm willing to bet the final t-shirt will be printed with a best buy logo on it

why are all of the contests us only? there are many of other contests from other magazines that aren't us only.
