High end graphics from whom? Do they think ATI or Nvidia would keep tech like that quite, they would rule laptops with a small but powerful gpu

The cheaply priced netbook market may also take a hit when the tablet comes out. Apple typically prices their products higher than competitors, because they install top-of-the-line hardware
Thats a quote. Read it let it sink in then let the rage build as you realize what utter bullshit that is.

I expect nothing less from CNN. This is the same "news source" that put out a headline on problems some students were having installing Windows 7. Click on the link and you find out it's a CNN-Money Apple blog. They're about as "fair and balanced" as Fox these days, except it's on the other extreme.

This is pure genius. It may just become the new standard for designing products. Imagine this. Instead of paying hundreds of thousands of dollars to research and design your new product, all you do is get a few people to start a rumor about it. Then sit back and wait for the designs to come rolling in. In 6 months time you will have high quality images and a full spec sheet for your product. If your lucky maybe some tech site will even make a mock up to show you what they think your top secret project looks like. Then you gather all that information, take it to your engineers and programmers and say, "make this work." TADA! you just made the gadget of everyones dreams :) I hate you apple, but I have to respect you for getting your mindless zombie followers to design your products for you.

wow dude, wow
I would call it overkill at first, but the fact is, it is the most true thing i heard about an apple product. you can have just one thing apple, because nothing will work with it, so everything must be apple. FUCK MACS

Is this the same Goldman that didn't do any research and then start spewing out false facts about Apple laptops live on air?If not, this is disturbingly similar.

Here is a good question, What arcitecture does it run on??? Everyone says that it will have "great graphics" and "a big touchscreen" and 3G and other specs, but what about the most important question, What CPU does it have? If it has an ARM and runs iPhone OS, I don't see it with much value. Who wants an oversized iPod touch with a ton of tiny app icons? But, if it has an Intel Atom or a Core 2 Duo (like they put in all of their portables) with Mac OS X, then maybe it will be worth the money (yes, I know they disabled the Atom in 10.6.2, but maybe they will change their minds with a custom version of Mac OS X 10.6 for it).
Windows 7 is the King of all Microsoft OSes.

Gee, I wonder how much said tablet would cost on the market???? iPhone/iTouch cost around $200 to $300 dollars and they are smaller and have less supposed features and hype. $500 ??? For a high-end, hyped Apple product, be serious. Perhaps $800 or above. It will be for snobs and people who buy into hype. you know 80 percent of the people who support Apple.
By the way, why not simply get a good-quality laptop or netbook if you are gonna get a supposed-apple tablet? netbooks and laptops already do everything mentioned about this BS Apple hype-product

I would love to see some loser holding this thing in public doing his banking, email, and whatnot...ill laugh while he struggles with it and whip out my HTC and do everything twice as fast.

The thing isn't even out yet and people are like "OMG, this is the next best thing since sliced bread!". To me this looks like an iPod touch with a 10" screen and a full version of Mac OS X.
Makes me wonder if either these are just Apple enthusiast waiting for the next iProduct, or some sort of inside job. But my money's on the former.
