Never got my warning about this at all. If it wasn't for me going to MegaGames I wouldn't have known about this at all.

Shame on you Blizzard for not sending out a warning even though I have 3 of your games.

As Soon as I logged into my Game last night Right on the loader was/ is a BIG shield which if you read what it said told you about this and advise to change your p/w and even linked you to the site and said they would be linking you to change security questions soon as well. Were U asleep when U logging in or something..

Come to think of it, I also did NOT get any e-mail from Blizz. What are they waiting for, Mists of Pandoria to come out first?

Not to nit-pick, but it's somewhat misleading to show a picture of a physical authenticator when Blizzard has only mentioned the mobile and dial-in authenticator information were taken.

When I saw the headline I thought that it was the small thumb drive sized authenticators which were hacked.

Yeah, I got ahead of myself there. New thumbnail is more appropriate.

9.1 million subscriber base to WoW currently. So yeah, I'd say people are still playing lol.

Envy of the world. Why they are rumored to be selling off Blizz/activision is beyond me.

Yes apparently Vivendi wants to sell off it's stake in Activision/Blizzard. At least that's what Bloomberg's "anonymous insider source" says. Funny how after a month and a half there's been no official word from Vivendi concerning this. But that doesn't really affect World of Warcraft subscriptions and / or player base.

People are still playing that game? Isn't hacking into accounts there a bit like hacking into the RIM bank account?

Even if they shed 80% of their player base, it would still be more players than any other MMO out there
