People are still actually playing that game? Why?

Serious question?

There is no end-game. There are no incredibly hard bosses. The acts grind. What else should I mention? Basically Blizzard made their quick money and now D3 is getting shit on.

There could be cheaters, there could be not. No way to be sure with an automated banhammer.

All of the Linux users that I know are smug enough to think that they would know of a way to cheat without getting caught.

hey jack ass if Linux sucks so bad then why is it the go to OS for super computers do some research if you don't believe me

This is sad.... No, us that run linux just dont want to pay for our os and have our hands tied to what we can do with our computers and OS. I am willing to bet that the number of people that run Linux that I know dwarfs yours. I know not one person that wants to cheat. They just want native Linux games and are willing to pay for them. Hell, if you ported to OSX, you are 90% there on the port to Linux.

Some of my Linux users are my parents (who are retired) running LInux Mint and they are very happy.

Go troll somewhere else.

All the Linux users I know are EXTREMELY smug. They never shut up about how much better they are because they use Linux and they shun people trying to learn.

THAT my friends is why Linux will forever be a novelty OS.

Then stop surrounding yourself with people who are elitist douchebags. And if you think Linux is a novelty OS, then you are living in glaring ignorance to the various systems that your life revolves around which are powered by it.

I know whenever I load the latest mint on my computer I get noticeably smugger.

I like it because it is free, but it still (I don't care what anyone else has to say) is not as user friendly as win7.

Well then the linux users you know are pricks... The rest of us LInux users that use linux are not quite as smug, actually quite humble. That being said, we get our feather ruffled being told what to do with the computers we bought using our own money. I have been running Linux for 15 years. I have turned many people over to Linux. I currently run Kubuntu 12.04 on my work laptop and win8 cp on my beast. I am also very helpful as is a bunch of Linux people I know both personally and professionally. I actually prefer Kubuntu but, I love my games. Until Steam gets it Linux Client out, I will stay in windows for my gaming system.

Think before your say shit like this.

I applaud your attitude Doc. I also must point out that you are a minority in the extreme....

Linux users are hardly extreme. What you are thinking of as "pretentious" is just us being better than you. It's hard to tell the difference when you've never been on the other side, so I'll forgive you.

For the most part, I find most Linux users are just people who get tired of all the head ahces that come with owning a computer. We like having software that we don't have to worry about updating because someone decided new "security" features are needed (Windows Genuine Advantage) and we like being able to choose more than one option for what we do (Mac).

I find that without all the overhead that the other major software vendors put in place to protect their software, I have many more resources dedicated to what I'm doing; and I can run older hardware just as smoothly as Windows/Mac on new hardware.

Though being a Linux user usually means you know something about computers, so it's quite easy to develop "Nick Burns" syndrome when you have to answer computer questions every day for your relatives.

Yeah... that's not pompous or pretentious at all!

Way to make Linux/Unix users look good... By insulting everyone else in your opening line(s)...
