A ride to Best Buy and $50 are the only two things you need to place your pre-order for HTC's upcoming 4G Thunderbolt smartphone. Other details are decidedly less concrete, but according to reports, it will be available for pickup on February 14th, otherwise known as Valentine's Day. Online chatter also has new and upgrading pricing pegged at $250 with the now-standard 2-year service contract via Verizon.
The HTC 4G Thunderbolt comes with a 1GHz Qualcomm MDM9600 processor, 4.3-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash, a 1.3MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth, GPS, dual mics with noise canellation, 8GB of onboard storage, a preinstalled 32GB microSD card, and a handful of other goodies all wrapped around Google's Android 2.2 platform with HTC Sense on top.
