So pull the content and end up making less money in the end. The best part is the industry is too stupid to realize how much money they have already lost by not doing what netflix did first or at least getting into bed with netflix from day1

This is nothing new, I thought everyone knew this. Netflix has always listed when the expiration date of stuff in your Watch Instantly queue is approaching.

"And since it’s there content..."
there content?
Come on guys... this is English 101. Very, very basic stuff. I normally don't point out these gaffs, but they happen SO often on this site, I'm losing faith in the journalistic integrity. Not to mention that you look silly.
Ok, sorry about that, but it had to be done.

I'm trying to help them. I'm sure they don't want to lose readers - which is what will happen if they sound like morons.
As an example - people who read YOUR post, will correctly assume that you are (likely) poorly educated. As a result, everything you type will be ignored as irrelevant. Correctly so. If you want people to take you seriously, you must present yourself as worthy of that consideration.
If you don't want people to think you're a moron, then don't compose text like a moron. It's very simple.

First, I hear at Trekmovie that Pocket books was screwing over the fans of the new trek movie, and now this. Why is it that when any news is provided about companies, it's always about how they screw the consumer over?

Um, because bad things make the news? Honestly, when was the last time you turned on Fox/CNN, and saw them report about something good that happened? I honestly cannot say I see it too often. Mostly its about the war, some idiot senator/congressman or what have you.

Here is my two cents on the matter. I will buy a movie I like even if I can watch it online streaming from Netflix. I watch them streaming from NF so that I don't ruin my DVD when I want to take is somewhere I can't get Netflix, i.e. a friends house that either doesn't have internet or not high enough speed to watch the movie. I also preview movies I want to buy this way if they are up. Or I borrow them and decide if I want to buy them.
Disney and Dreamworks need to get the heads on right because if they do this I don't care if I like the movie or not I won't buy it. I will borrow it from a friend or a movie store but I will not purchase it.

This is Disney we are talking about. They canceled a 17 year uninterrupted run series because of Low Ratings but they never promoted it or even AIRED it in some territories to begins with.

its always amazing how money can cloud the minds of even the most intelligent business minds. The movie industry would have been smart to take notes on the whole music industry thing.

You are talking about move execs... not exactly known for their raging intellects, my friend. If they were that intelligent, they might have found a way to make $$ and please the consumer in the current market. Looks like they are too busy pulling this crap instead of coming up with solutions for problems that honestly aren't that complex.
