The Average Internet User Spends 13 Hours a Week Online
Many years back, a typical internet browsing session only lasted until the jaded user finally wondered, “now which site?” But the Youtubes and the Facebooks have changed all that. Social media and streaming video are among the few technologies that have helped make the internet more riveting, more addictive. A new poll conducted by Harris Interactive shows that people are spending more time on the internet now than a decade ago. The average time spent online has almost doubled in the last decade.
According to the Harris poll, the average American adult internet user spent 13 hours per week on the internet this year, down slightly from last year's average of 14 hours per week. However, last year's average was relatively high on account of the presidential election and a deepening financial crisis.
There has been a significant increase in the percentage of adults accessing the internet from home during the past few years, with the number shooting up to 76% this year from 66% in 2005. The total number of American adults on the internet, though, has remained static at 184 million since 2007.

I must have missed that survey..and so did the rest of my family. Our entertainment is the internet, not T.V. We do watch T.V. but only stuff we dvr. I myself can't stand watching T.V. any more, well The Big Bang Theory, but that's about it.

I guess now is a bad time to say that I spend an average of 12 hours online everday.

Don't feel bad bro. I spend at least 12 hours a day just on porn.
Right now I'm really in to the fake 'college party' scene. They are obviously porn stars. Ya I was 35 years old when I went to college also. Come on!
