Some concept computer designs should stay as designs. The “B-membrane” by Korean designer Won-Seok Lee is one such design. It looks more like some sort of turbo Roomba vacuum cleaner than a PC. I could see it sucking up the tiles off my floor before I could imagine using this thing for a computer.
The top is actually an adjustable projector that you can point to any surface. I can feel the eyestrain starting just thinking about it. It includes a curved backlit membrane keyboard in a light blue against white background. This is a setup for more eyestrain since there would be no tactile feel from the keyboard, and unless you chop your fingers off at odd angles this keyboard can’t be comfortable to use.
So it’s basically a retro 60’s art sculpture piece. You could put on the funky old make out music while you turn on the B-membrane’s “ambient light effect”, which you should read as mood lighting for an Austin Powers sort of make-out fest. Oh behave!
