It should be automatic when ever you go down to one bar it reports it to the provider. Then they would find out where they dead zones realy are. Then i am sure AT&T map would look that bad for coverage.

They should have an automatic mode that sends the information whenever a call prematurely ends.

You can map out coordinates manually, as well as using your current location.
So, in theory, when you are finished driving, you could send the failure report to AT&T using the manually mapped location.Jay Barry

Yeah, I realized that after I posted (part of me didn't want to believe they'd actually expect you to map out the areas after the fact). Honestly, if I were travelling through several states, and I lost a signal more than once - I would use the time it would take to map out the dead zones, to switch to another network.

So, how are they going to handle times when the user can't give feedback (i.e. while driving)? While this is a good idea, it might not be accurate enough to catch dead spots along interstate routes.

man, forget the highways.
i just want service in my freaking living room without having to lean out the window.
