Asus-brand LCDs Pull Ahead of the Competition
We're not sure if the same holds true in the U.S. market, but in Taiwan, Asus-branded LCD monitors are flying off the shelves, and at a rate faster than all the competition, DigiTimes' "industry sources" say.
More specifically, Asus nabbed 20 percent of the LCD monitor market in Taiwan in 2009. It was a tie for second place between Chimei and Acer, each of which nipped at Asus' heels with 18-19 percent of the market. Viewsonic came in third with 14-15 percent, and BenQ controlled 10 percent of the LCD monitor market.
Despite falling prices for larger screen monitors, 19-inch widescreen models continued to be the most popular in Asus' lineup. It probably helped that Asus slashed prices on 19-inch models before everyone else, marking them down to about $125.

But above average I would say and their price point is pretty attractive. I like mine.

Asus seems to know what's going on when it comes to monitors.
I heard good reivews on some of their stuff, and so decided to get me a 22" lcd.
It's a great monitor, and came with zero dead pixels.
The secomd monitor I got from them was a 26", and I was just as satisfied with this one as the first.
My only complaint is that they bleed a little if you look for it, but otherwise they're great monitors
I'll contintue to purchase their monitors if they keep things up like they have
Asus has however lost my mobo busincess to EVGA. You can't win them all

Just got the Asus VW224U on Christmas. I plan to probably get a second one (to make 3 monitors in total). Good price for these monitors.

My monitor feels pretty special at the moment. It's a 19" widescreen.
