I'm intrigued, especially with the new onboard sound. I have the Sabertooth x79 but the onboard sound won't work. I've looked it up and others have had issues with it as well, some weird issue with installing video card in the first pci slot. Whatever.. I also have a Propellerhead Balance board which is fine, but not for gaming with a microphone, so I have a cheap headset... but I also tried the Asus Xonar card after reading Gordon's review, and dear lord, coupled with 600ohm headphones (Sennheiser 650) the sound was amazing.. especially sampling 192khz recordings. I really was taken aback and just how good it sounded.

I couldn't keep the card because it seriously caused my crossfire setup to heat up. I made a poor choice with the Corsair 550D, buying different parts at different times, and it just added up to PC that wants to be silent and enthusiast at the same time.. anyway.. definitely looking at a way to get that type of audio, high-end gaming, AND interested in water cooling.

I wonder if I should sell my rig now and switch to Haswell. I picked up the 3990k for $420 and the x79 on a newegg open box so I think I could make my money back. I don't think my audio recording really needs all that. Anybody interested? ;)

The Asus Poseidon: Nice card! Combining Both cooling features is a great Idea!

Maximum VI Formula motherboard: Can't say I'm a Big Fan of Boards that cover everything, as this makes them a pain to clean with an Air Can when they get dirty over time. Hopefully ASUS provides a way to remove it. It would be Nice if ASUS would embed LEDS into the board or on the solder side & make the board Light Up "Glow" inside the case. Could even make the board glow different colors. I know I would love an lit up "Ice Blue" Motherboard!

Finally, components actually begging to be overclocked. Combine that with a closed loop CPU cooler and some good case ventilation and away you go.

that mobo looks like it can resist an EMP caused by a nuke and a few bullets.

I want both of these! Unfortunately, with my current job outlook, I'll never be able to afford it, lol.

That motherboard would go perfect with my red and black setup.

Very nice! Too bad they will cost more than my whole current system does. But one can dream and drool.

When I first saw the pic, I thought it was the panel off some premium case. Damn.
