In the old days of television antennae we called them "Rabbit ears".

I would put it in my home network if the price is right and it provides a significant performance boost. My router is 50' and two walls away from my entertainment center. We get fairly decent throughput but there is room for improvement especially when I am streaming to my laptop/TV rather than the BD player wireless.

It would be nice to see a review on it.

So just because it has long spindly antenna it's "bizzarely phallic"?

LOL! I guess it's like some art, people see what they want to see. :-)
