Not a bad deal, but I'm very happy with my 8.9" Nook HD+ 32GB 1.5 GHZ TI dual core, 1920x1200 res screen,(beautiful) 1GB ram, google play enabled for $179 *and* I can dual boot it (jelly bean) with micro SD card. I don't need to worry about Barnes-Noble support, the dual boot takes care of that. Oh, btw, as an after thought, I don't care about having a camera on it, I actually own 2 digital cameras that work just fine !! It's not the most powerful, but for the money, it just cannot be beat.

Is there some reason why tablet makers refuse to put GPS sensors in?

I love my nook HD+, i got it cheap, but the lack of GPS is really irritating.

This one doesnt have one either, and a lot of other cheap ones dont as well.

The $150 Hisense Sero 7 Pro has GPS. This is from PCMag's site: "On top of that, the Sero 7 Pro offers microSD card expansion and mini HDMI out for mirroring the device's display onto bigger HDTVs—both of which are missing on the Nexus 7. There's a 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, which one-up the Nexus 7's single 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera. Also onboard are 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS, and even NFC."

Nook HD+ was never designed for GPS. Buy a damn GPS! Garmin makes a nice one.

The title says it is a $150 tablet, the article says $150, but the first line says $100...

Typo? Or did I miss something?

Originally I though I found the slate selling for $100 street, but that was for the non-HD version (the original Memo Pad 7). Price info's been fixed. :)
