Asus Eee Keyboard PC to Launch before July
Posted 05/14/09 at 09:50:17 AM by Paul Lilly
Forget about all-in-one PCs, how about an all-in-one keyboard? That's exactly what Asus was showing off during CES earlier this year, and it looks like the 2-pound Eee Keyboard PC will start shipping before July, says Engadget Chinese.
FInal specs might still change between now and when it releases, but as it stands, the Eee Keyboard will come with an Intel Atom N270 processor (1.6GHz, 533MHz frontside bus, 512KB L2 cache), a 32GB SSD, 1GB of RAM, 802.11n WiFi, Bluetooth, HDMI, stereo speakers, and a diminutive 5-inch 800x480 touchscreen display/trackpad combo.
No word yet on price.

I for one Cannot wait for the EEE Keyboard PC to be released!
Since reading about it a few weeks ago i have wanted one so bad, still not able to find that much information about the Keyboard PC
Hopefully they do release it in August, and not put it off for longer. Also i have written a ASUS EEE Keyboard PC Review (Pre-Release Review, my thoughts on the ASUS EEE Keyboard PC).

Not the best layout.

placing the screen on the side rather than the top severely limits it's use when commuting.
Still, it's taking the all in one laptop another step.

Well, if it really does HDMI right, and it doesn't cost an arm + leg, and it runs Win 7, it's a cute SlingBox ... or, the worlds biggest (wired) remote control!

That's the silliest thing I've ever seen. What on earth would be the point of having that?
not sure what you mean

not sure what you mean.
if you mean the product, then:
would you rather have a whole size ATX case with fan humming in your living room with 10 wire at it's back, plus keyboard and mouse(wired or wireless).
or a whole computer on your lap with a intergrated small monitor.
if you mean the 2002 calendar, then:
no idea.... demostrate the thing can display dates from 7 years ago?
