This would mean more to me if it was a high end board not a wet cap, sata 2.0, 2 dimm slot, 1 x16 pci french tickler of a board.

ASUS updated their AI SUITE to run on Win8 for my 3 P8Z77-V Deluxe mobos. That was hanging me up for a while but now that's fixed. I see nothing on the board that does not run under Win8 so I bet other manufacturers will be touting their Win8 certs soon enough.

Considering that windows 8 works fine on windows 7 hardware, I don't think this actually matters.
