I think the most important statement in this article is the last one, where it is quoted that Jobs said "We have to let go of the notion that for Apple to win, Microsoft needs
to lose." He realizes this, and I think he should realize this for every aspect of his company, like attacking the Android phone makers, because really, they're doing the same thing Microsoft is with computers, they have an OS, and are allowing many manufacturers access to it. I think in all honesty this competition is good, but the attacking of the competitors is a lame pursuit. I think that operating system arguements are like arguing on the internet. And since most of it is arguing on the internet anyway, I feel it is safe to say it makes you look like an idiot most of the time. I mainly think Steve Jobs is a moron for his claims against everyone since he seems to take it too far. The competition can up the ante when he does accordingly, which he should see as something to push him forwards, instead it looks like he sees it as something to set him backwards. Either showing he feels his stuff would be inferior, which that quoted statement can also show him thinking. Now Apple isn't inferior, it's all usage dependant.

It makes sense that Apple would pull ahead of MS. Apple produces alot of very popular and successful hardware. MS has fewer successful products but what it does sell well it really sells like it's Operating System and Office Suites they are crazy successful and so is the Xbox. But MS has some products that lack in sales like the Zune. The Zune just isn't as successful as the Ipod.

If Microsoft would not mind dropping me a few tens of millions, I do believe that in 13 years, Bicepsoft could rival both Apple and Microsoft in market capitalization.

well, if ive learned anything these past few years from the market its that items that have become grossly overpriced (housing market, gas) eventually crashes and falls faster than a thong on a $3 hooker. enjoy it apple, just remember, you wouldn't be there if msft didn't help your asses out.
