Antec Announces EarthWatts EA-750 Green PSU with 80 Plus Bronze Tag

Maybe it's our imagination running wild, but Antec's new EarthWatts EA-750 Green power supply sounds to us like it's made from recycled cardboard and runs on dirt. That obviously isn't the case, but it does earn brownie points with Mother Nature for consuming up to 33 percent less energy than an equivalent power supply with no reduction in performance (according to Antec) and for earning an 80 Plus Bronze certification.

"Enthusiasts and system integrators looking for a cost-effective power supply solution should look to the EA-750 Green – a PSU that lets users power their equipment, save money and help protect the environment, without skimping on quality and reliability."

The EA-750 is a partially modular power supply with nine SATA connectors, six Molex plugs, 5V floppy connector, and four 8-pin (6+2) PCI-E connectors with four +12V rails rated at 40A. It's also Nvidia SLI and AMD CrossFireX certified and includes a 135mm double ball bearing fan.

Antec's EA-750 Green is available now for around $130.
