You better watch out, Xbox: your future as the dominant video game console now lies in doubt. No, there wasn’t a new announcement on the PlayStation or Wii fronts. It’s not even a resurgence in PC gaming you need to worry about. Your end lies in Android’s Ice Cream Sandwich and its ability to transform into a mobile gaming console on the fly with just a couple of cables and a gamepad.
We’re kidding of course – at least about the dim prospects in the Xbox’s future. The Ice Cream Sandwich bit is totally real. Engadget pointed us to a tweet by Google framework engineer Romain Guy:
So there you have it: all the components necessary to turn your Galaxy Nexus into a portable gaming platform, if not quite a portable gaming powerhouse. Honeycomb has supported controllers on the tablet front for a while now, but it’s a new feature for smartphones. Time to stock up on gamepads, HDMI cables and Mountain Dew and get your Game Dev Story on on the big screen.

Sometimes I sound like I’m arguing, when I’m actually not. I just have a way of putting my posts stronger than intended.It’s easier to keep out of the conversation and not take the chance of being misunderstood.

I always follow all your news but this one I have missed. It is really a new fact for me about and I will definitely try to find more publications about her. Well, I have to admit that she is really a beautiful woman and personally I think that she is very similar like Alexis Texas! Look at her. Anyway thanks a lot for sharing this wonderful news!

"Better watch out, Xbox?" Wii has the highest install base, and PS3 has the highest software sale numbers. . . what makes Xbox the leader in consoles, exactly?

I actually really like alot of the Android games. It's a break from the same old FPS / RTS and action adventure games they serve us on Xbox, PS3 and PC.
