I liked the new brushed off look, but I think you just have to get used to the new navigation. I agree though, I liked 9.6 - looks.

i just downloaded it for windows 7 64 bit.  seems to be stable, i don't really like the new UI though, it seems like a step back.  Not nearly as intuitive as 9.6
