Good luck recapturing any of the server market on 32nm. Performance per watt is noncompetitive to Intel, which is why Intel has 95% of the market and AMD has table scraps.

Amd may be making a great come back in the server market. These low performance/very efficient cpu may just be what the doctor ordered in an ever growing market.

Seattle looks nice. I'd love to see that in a Android tablet or phone. 8 A57's would destroy everything else on the market. Hell even just a 4 core A57 with 1 or maybe 2 GCN units would slay everything by a giant margin.

Those are aimed for performance per watt which doesn't necessarily mean that they'd be good for a battery powered device.

I gotta agree Limitbreaker, the architechture is NOT designed for a limited power supply.

There isn't a battery that could supply this with the juice needed. Atleast not at any form of realistic price.
