No, thank you for a computer full of AMD stickers. I only need one sticker and that's all! AMD is consider to be a cheap CPU company. Intel is more costly. The secret is that Intel and Microsoft are partners and Intel will make it's CPU make it perfectly match with Windows. Microsoft and AMD might not have a good relationship.

I think the AMD GPU Compute is called STREAM, iirc.  I think CUDA has a much larger market share though, so step up your game AMD :)

AMD desperately needs to move on the Physics bandwagon. The open source library is great news, AMD needs to compete with Nvidia's CUDA in some form.

No need to compete with CUDA. OpenCL and DirectCompute will make CUDA obsolete.

I thought they were. They had a different setup. The name escapes me though... But it was in competition with CUDA. And I thought that AMD supported Havoc as a Physics engine... maybe I'm wrong though...

I believe AMD's only option was to use Havok as a physics engine. A few years ago, Intel apparently signed an agreements to aquire Havok. So I guess AMD is in limbo right about now..
