Interesting on how the professional cards by both AMD and NVidia has been morphing lately from their old business models. NVidia dropped having the GPU being able to run massive CUDA operations and now AMD is adding other cards that are not aimed at the traditional professional graphics workstation model. I have a feeling that the old models did not add much to their profits so they are trying different things.
Perhaps their cards are getting powerful enough that they cannot sell them at a high end markup anymore?
