Few harvested dies = good news about yields.

Personally, I am not a fan of harvested dies. By their nature they cannot bring afforable gpus to the masses unless the design is fubar and needs to be gutted (see fermi).

I'm looking forward to picking one of these up.  With a $150 gift card, that GPU would be well within my range, especially since it'd be cheaper than a smartphone I was putting money aside for.

Geez, you are quoting Fudzilla?  really?

Those guys are wrong ALLOT.

Selectively, yes, and on this one, they've been right on the money so far.

I would have to grudgingly agree on this one.

The name "Fudzilla" sort of doesn't do them very well either.

The 7950s specs look quite good, retaining many of the features of its more expensive brother. Clocks are a mystery, but a number of makers will probably swap out the reference cooler, spank that clock and still price it competitively.
