Quake Wars ??? Does someone still playing that game ?

Army Of One

Lol, yea there's a couple hundred people still playing Quake wars on the weekend. The real funny one is "11% improvement in Wolfenstein MP" ????????

To my knowledge, the MP of that game is 100% dead. (not kidding)

Best guess is that AMD tends to play it internally then. If they need a crack to get by the DRM ... naughty, naughty!

This is why I prefer to use Single GPU cards over Dual GPU Cards. Ever since AMD took over ATI, their drivers have been awful. Sometimes so Bad, they Blue Screen during Instals or don't detect the Card even when the card is listed as being supported. Disabling the AV did not resolve the issue. & would even happen on fresh installs.

You have some seriously f'ed up hardware. Years and years of owning ATI/AMD hardware across multiple machines and I've never EVER had any issue installing drivers, let alone getting bluescreens.

I had the drivers for the 4850 CFX setup I had nuke the mbr of my hard drive. AMD drivers suck, and just because you and a few others haven't run into issues doesn't mean they don't exist.
Google it and see.

Its people with problems that are in the minoity, not the people without.

Same here. I have run every AMD/ATI driver since 8.2. The only problem I had was once on a fresh install of windows, I didn't have the proper .net version and the install freaked (I believe it was 9.11). I hear people hate on their drivers and I just never see issues and I work with a lot of computers and a lot of different cards. I think part of the issue might be people unfamiliar with their install process or people used to how nVidia does it. I think nVidia has an easy setup too but I just don't see one significantly better or worse for drivers.

Installed these, plus the CAP. Using Afterburner I can quantitatively say that latency is much more flat curve. Battlefield 3 seems to run much smoother
