I would really like to see more games and other programs take advantage of this.  I mean there are a lot of dual procs out there and a fair amount of quads.  But so many programs are still single thread.  I know the hardware has to come first but I would say it's been around now we should have more to show.  At this point I would rather see some faster clock speeds on quads (without having to over clock for my 4g).  I think it's cool about more procs would just like to see a little more program support.

Programming multi threaded apps and games takes a lot more effort on the part of the developer. Unless its a major developer or a small project (in which case it doesn't matter.) Its more effort than its worth on the part of the developer.

I wonder what kind of cooling solution these are going to require.

I wanted a signature, but all I got was this ________

The same as any other processor. Would you expect it to be any different? It will have a stock cooler that will probably be good enough.

So is the AMD 6 cores going to work with AM3? They're supposed to, yes? :p
