Acer tablet are crap, but I'd so buy it. This is because they are only crap until you mod them. And because they are so stock with little aftermarket bloatware, they have the best roms. I have the a500 now and since it's modded and overclocked, it runs smoother than most android tablets on the market right now.

Considering that the A510 is listed on Acer's site at $430 and has a 1280x800 screen it seems a little far fetched that the A700 would be just $450 for a much higher resolution screen. I wonder if we are being sucked in by a higher resolution but the actual screen will be low quality....i.e bad viewing angles, dim, all around crappy picture.

Full wish list of specs at target price point. I was waiting to get to the down side. Where's the down side?

touche, my brother has the 200 series model. And it just does not seem to smooth. I wasnt that impressed with it.

same here, i was waiting for the 'BUT' part. It never came. This sounds like they listen to consumers and provided all the right componets that people want. Could it have been better yes, but this even intrigues me. Im tempted.

Considering that a 1920x1200 display costs $300 alone....

Give it to me with Windows 8 and I'll take four.
