2K: No BioShock 2 DLC for You! (You = PC Gamers)
BioShock 2 may not have made quite the splash that its predecessor did, but we thought it was just as good – maybe better, in some ways. So it’s with a heavy heart and a dejected, Big-Daddy-like wail that we bring you word that BioShock 2’s DLC won’t be riding the bathysphere over to PC.
“We will also not be offering Protector Trials and Minerva’s Den on the PC in the future – and I want to say that I’m sorry for the disappointment this will cause to PC players out there. As always, if any of these issues change in the future, I will update you guys first, but at this point in time I don’t want to make you wait any longer and these are the most definite answers I have and you guys should deem them final decisions,” a 2K spokesperson wrote on the game’s official message boards.
The worst part? Minerva’s Den has been hailed by many as some of the most interesting single-player DLC of the year. But here we are, stuck out in a cold rain of the same old level and weapon packs while console players are snuggled up nice and warm with BioShock 2’s offerings. It ain’t right, we tell ya! It just ain’t right.

Well 2K, thank you for being total jerks. Hope your update about this changing in the future is coming out tomorrow, because there is simply no excuse for this. I paid for your damn game on the PC, and expect to be treated as a valued customer... this ain't cutting it.

what is the reason behind this decision? do they expect people who pirated Bioshock 2 to buy a console and buy bioshock and DLC on it? or do they expect people who bought Bioshock 2 on PC to buy a console and another copy of bioshock+DLC on it? neither make any sense for a mere DLC.
seems like a dumb move that reduces sale.
beside, it won't cost them much to release the content for PC since they already ported the core game.

And a nice, big fuck YOU to 2K. Oh, and 2K, let me know how things work out for you when pirating games for console systems becomes widespread, and everyone who has the free pirating software, a DVD burner, and the know how to click "burn" eventually will fuck your idealism of a better console system up.

CONSOLS CAN PLAY CRACKED GAMES TOO! I think some action needs to be taken to protect the PC as a gaming platform from all the DUMB ASSES out there that think consols cant play copied cames. We (PC Gamers) are always being touted as pirates and its not fair... I was gamin on the PC when consols were being born....... WE WERE HERE FIRST AND WE DEMAND RESPECT!

I guess console gamers not getting things from Valve makes up for this. Slightly.

Bioware shafts console gamers, too. So, it's nice to know that there are a few companies out there that definately fall on the PC side of things. :)
