"We know of no Phenom II X6 processors that have TDP ratings of less than 125 watts."

Say it ain't so Gordon!  The Phenom II X6 1055T 95W version is sitting happily in my own little monster based on this board.  MaxPC would have fallen a long way if you didn't know about that proc!  Sure, its hard to find, but its out there.

AMD's literature says your 1055T is 125W. The 1045T and 1065T are both 95W, but they apparently are not available in the U.S.. I picked up two 1065T procs in Okinawa.

The 95W part is the HDT55TWFK6DGR, the 125W part is the HDT55TFBK6DGR.  Follow the compare phenom specs link from the link you supplied, or just go here: http://products.amd.com/en-us/DesktopCPUResult.aspx

Great review as always, would be awesome to put in a HTPC to save money over Intel parts, I like both manufacturers equally though.

The AMD Phenom II X6 1065T and 1045T are both 95W. For whatever reason, I can get the 1065T here in Japan, but Newegg (nor any other U.S. vendor) doesn't have them. AMD has them listed in their literature. I wonder why they aren't available in the US. Maybe the next round of AMD X6 processors will have some 95W models?

I picked up two of the 1065T processors up here in Okinawa (for about $200 each). One for my HTPC and one for my Mini-ITX box (Zotac 890GXITX-A-E motherboard). Great CPUs! The speed increases on my HTPC (formerly had a 95W X4 810) were HUGE! My Mini-ITX system is still waiting the arrival of a SSD, so I haven't gotten to test drive that one yet, but I should be up and running any day!

Here's the Model # comparison sheet from AMD: http://www.amd.com/us/products/desktop/processors/phenom-ii/Pages/phenom-ii-model-number-comparison.aspx
