I have to give dell credit for one thing, and that is that their e6400 has driven me to seriously consider buying a macbook pro next time around.  They may have finally added support for the Core i5/7 processors but they make no mention about improving the terrible "ultrasharp" display, and the a hardware refresh does nothing to fix the fact that the software required for the extended battery settings adds almost a minute to startup time.

Myself, I will avoid Apple's proprietary garbage as well and purchase the Lenovo Ideapad U1 when it releases in June. Is it a laptop? Is it a Tablet PC? No it is both!! I do not mind the $1000 price tag for a hybrid convertible that can multi-task and be used as a laptop or if I need a tablet, detach the screen from the base and off I go.

Did they fix the ESD issues that the E6400 and E4300 suffers from? If not, avoid at all costs.

Where's the USB3?

Did thet finally fix it so you don't need both hands to open it?

No more backlit keyboard option?

Where's the innovation?

This can't be the best that Dell can do.
