This is the first I've read this article. And I don't remember this feature ever being in Vista or WinXP...

I have been in IT Support since the Win95 days. Never heard of  of it on any prior version of windows. Too bad  solversurfer...failed at backing up the comment. For example, in all the tickets we have had to open up with Microsoft. Not once did they ask us to use a tool anything at all like Problem Steps Recorder.

Wow this is kinda neat, but i dont really ever see a use for it.  Are there any other windows 7 tools out there that we never heard of?  whats on my computer!?  lol

Working in IT, this is VERY useful. It allows the creation of walkthroughs and guides so much easier.

For the average person, no. But for IT professionals, huge help!

Snipping tool is pretty nice if you ever need to take a screenshot of something.  Also, if you right click the speaker icon and click 'Open Volume Mixer' you can adjust the volume of each individual program.
