I appreciate you sharing this. It's an annoying thing about social networking sites. Email notifications should be opt-in by default.

I was surprised to see the F-Bomb in the "Google+'s inbox flood in action" image above. I was reading this article to my 4yr old daughter and almost said it. Whew.. good thing she can't read big words yet. Thats Busch........Thats Busch League.

Just kidding!

I am not sure if I need another Social Networking site taking up anymore time in my life. I will probably change my mind when I get an invite because I am a little curious.

These Google+ how to articles are fine and all, but I question the timing of them as most people do not have access to Google+ as it is still limited to a select few.

If you're fishing for an invite, I can oblige, Neufeldt. Just send an email to the address in the pics above. And hey, everybody else, don't flood my inbox -- I'm extending this offer to Neufeldt because he (kinda) asked first.

BTW, Google+ may not have 750+ million users like Facebook, but it already passed the 20 million milestone. That's a big enough crowd that a few how-to's are in order :-)

Thanks for the invitation for the invite, fired off an email. I was merely pointing out that alot of people don't have Google+ accounts yet, and it just seemed off to me to be posting info (however well intended) on a product that is still in beta form and is likely to change some.

I gotcha, but the offer still stands. Remember, too, that Gmail was in Beta for 5 years, including 2 full years of public usage.
