I find it hard t configure the analog sticks to feel just right for fps games, but i use it in conjunction to the standard controls (the buttons that arent used) so that i can sit a little ways back comfortably from the screen without the need to use my kb/ mouse.

So do you have to plug in your Xbox 360 controller into a USB port, or is there a way to hook it up wirelessly?

I heard it just uses Bluetooth.

Microsoft sells a USB wireless receiver for PCs. I dunno if you can get it to use bluetooth.

Way to get my hopes up. You really need to phrase your article titles better. I instantly assumed that this was about the "Old Xbox", and was blown away by the preview image. I thought that this would be a great alternative to XBCD, but now... I'm sad.

It's pretty simple to use an original XBox controller on PC, and the same software will work with them as well.

I love Xpadder, i've been using it for years.

"Shockingly, many popular games won’t recognize a console controller.  Don’t believe me? Try using your Xbox controller with Call of Duty.  Or Battlefield 2.  Or H.A.W.X."

Really? HAWX works perfectly fine for me, right out of the box, with my Xbox 360 controller. Didn't even have to configure anything. I don't know about the other two, as I don't own them, but I know that HAWX works perfectly.

Does Xpadder support original XBox controllers or just 360 controllers.

Does anyone else hear an echo?

It supports pretty much any controller.  I don't really know if you can plug an XBox 1 controller up to your PC.  Maybe with an adapter.

Been using Xpadder for months now, and am happy with how easy it is to use.  It's great for flash games when you wanna kick back.

The original XBox controllers were USB, just with a proprietary plug.  It's pretty simple to wire up a USB plug to them.

XPadder will work with any game pad, not just an XBox pad.  That includes the PS3 controller, if your PC does Bluetooth and you do the setup.

I wanted to check this out but couldn't find a free version. There didn't seem to be any way around paying $9.99 thru Paypal to get the download.

That's the last version that's still free.  If you're using it on Windows 7, though, you'll have to run it in Vista compatibility mode.

If you google it you should be able to find a old version thats still free
