StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty Unboxing--That's a Lot of Stuff!!
It's here! It's here! We've been spending a lot of time with the StarCraft II beta and are already very pleased with what we've seen so far, but we'd be lying to say that we weren't a little ecstatic when the Collectors Edition arrived today. This edition, which comes eloquently packed away in a huge, sturdy box, includes a bad-ass USB dog tag, soundtrack, art book, comic book, behind-the-scenes DVD, and of course, the one, the only, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty.
So, to wet your pallette, we decided to shoot the unboxing. Stay tuned though, we'll be running SCII through various benchmarks on different PCs, and will have the official review up ASAP. Until then, enjoy the unboxing, and try not to drool all over your keyboard (we recommend lots of chewing gum for absorption if you simply can't help yourself).
Giant, heavy boxing. The box itself splits open in the middle like a huge, futuristic mechanical gate.
Lots and lots of stuff.
Game DVD with USB Dogtag
StarCraft Comic and behind-the-scenes DVD
The Art of StarCraft Collectors book, soundtrack.

This game is highly polished, graphics are very good. I haven't gotten too far into gameplay yet but everything appears to be top quality.

I'm very excited for the game and I hope it will do well, but I can't see myself picking this game up any time soon. I haven't even beaten the first one yet

I have all of my World of Warcraft Collectors editions stuff somewhere. The art book I looked through once (just decided to recycle it), watched the making of video halfway (who cares- most of that is online anyways), The music CD I never played.
So I am left with a very nice, expensive BOX (oops, I don't have it any more, must have recycled that too!)
Put the drool back in your mouths and just pay for the regular game. THAT I will use for a while!

Dude, some of us actually ENJOY all that stuff you complained about and threw out. You don't dig that stuff? That's fine. Then don't waste money on it and cry about it later. But don't harsh on Collectors Editions overall, because a lot of us HARDCORE FANS LOVE that stuff.

I don't get it! I tried RTS but find them excruciatingly boring!
Have a barely used DVD of Supreme Commander somewhere in here...

What does =/= mean? Better? Equal? Worse? I personally love SupCom 1 and 2.

If you've made it past 6th grade math you should know that means "not equal". :)

And if you had gotten more than a D- in 6th grade math you'd realize that normally "not equal" is represented by the slash passing through the two parallel lines and not a slash between two equal signs, so the confusion is understandable.

Nice try both of you, but in typed form I think the symbol you are looking for is !=

Good thing there is no hostility amongst fellow PC users. Haha.
