SF Bay Area readers (or national readers with quick access to jet planes!), we want to get to know you guys and gals better. To that extent, we've organized a little meet up in San Francisco, and would love it if you could attend. It'll be at the Thirsty Bear, and we'll make sure there will be plenty of food and refreshments - and some prizes!
So, if you're in the area, come pay us a visit! We'll eat, drink, and discuss things of nerdy nature--that sounds like a damn fine way to end a Tuesday to us. Address information below:

It was really cool to meet my heroes of the printed page and podcast in the flesh!
And I got to walk away with a valuable (and heavy) door prize--now I have no excuse not to build a new Sandy Bridge system.
Keep up the great work guys, and I look forward to the next SF meetup.

I would be there if I could get to an airport on the 17th. Really. But the nearest airport is three hours away, and I'm getting high-speed internet installed on that day.

i just realized im not a really nerdy person. after listening to some of the older podcasts, i realize i don't understand most of the content as far as the jargon or star wars stuff. hopefully i don't downplay the evening for everyone else.
Will be seeing you there! hopefully traffic is nice too going that way.
