Hey.That_Dude

Hey, You guys missed the GT60 3K edition, with the awesome 2880x1620 16 in display.

That GS70 is looking very sexy. Raid 0 msata SSDs and a hard drive to put all my music, movies, and pictures on. (OMG, imagine 960 GB (480GBx2) at 1000 MB/s *DROOL*).
No Blu-Ray but I suppose I can get an external drive, or let my desktop magically create files that my laptop can play.

And I bet that laptop has those stupid useless chiclet keys that are hard to type on when you have big hands!

I dream of the Gaming Laptop with an Upgradable Graphics Card *sigh*

Yeah, unfortunately all video cards in laptops are all integrated into the motherboard.

My laptop's GPU is not integrated. It is a MXM card. But, I'm guessing 90% of laptops have integrated video cards.

Thanks for the info.

You're welcome! ^__^

I was a little worried that it would sound rude after I posted.

Actually the Lenovo y-series laptops have what's known as an "ultra bay". This allows there to be a second GPU in SLI with the first one, or you can put in a HDD among other things.

if that is laser etched aluminum for the palm rest and lid and not that shitty metallic plastic, i know where my next tax check is going. the red and black are nice and just flashy enough, without being over the top.

Im am a bit curious how long it will live though. the power system is designed too weak, the system can pull more than the brick can supply, so the system will supplement with battery power. I know some other gaming notebooks out there ship with up to 330W power bricks, rather than the wimpy 180W this comes with. So, If it is that taxing on its own power delivery system, where else is it under-engineered?

Out of curiosity, what laptops have you seen with a 330W PSU? Highest I've ever seen is 200W and it was huge. It was in a friend's Dell XPS with SLI'd cards.

This one has the same 180W power supply as the original GT70 Dragon Edition. Of all the gaming laptops, that unholy monster was second only to the Alienware m18 as every review site was concerned. The 180W is enough to be kick-ass, but the battery "NOS" system is just to push overclocks even further. Trust me: all of the GT70 laptops are *extremely* amazing machines.
