Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Finally Leaping Onto PC Next Month
Being an assassin requires watching, waiting, and heaping gobs of patience. So, by that logic, Ubisoft seems to have assumed that PC gamers are the greatest assassins of all, seeing as we've been standing out in the cold since November. But now – finally – we'll soon be able to vent our frustrations in the healthiest way we know how: relentless stabbing.
“Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood for PC will be released on March 17th [NA and certain EMEA countries] and the 18th of March for [UK],” Ubisoft wrote on its official forums.
Our delay induced bitterness aside, Brotherhood released to rave reviews on consoles, so at the very least it should be worth the wait. Well, unless it includes everyone's favorite PC-exclusive bonus item: DRM so heinous it'll make you wish Ezio would add you to his hit list. We've emailed Ubisoft to find out what its anti-piracy plans are, and we'll let you know as soon as we find out.

Ubisoft doesn't do the "always have to be online" DRM anymore, they dropped that.

Not completely. For now, Ubisoft's official line is that it's still using its proprietary DRM on "select games." Also, even without the "always on" bit, it still requires you to be online every time you start a game.
Even though Ubisoft will probably err on the side of common sense and ditch its DRM for Brotherhood (fingers crossed for Steam, ala RUSE), I figured it was still worth checking on.
