Tough Tech: 20 Rugged Gadgets That Take A Lickin' And Keep On Tickin'
When the going gets tough, most technology throws up its hands in defeat and wilts like a flower. The majority of gadgets on the market just aren’t built to face the drop-down, submerged-in-liquid realities of everyday life – just ask anybody who ever had to replace his smartphone after spilling just a few drops of soda on it.
You won’t find any of that wussy gear in this gallery.
We’ve cast our ‘Net far and wide in search of the toughest take-a-shot-and-keep-on-kicking tech around. How tough are we talking? Buckshot tough. Drop on concrete from 80-plus feet tough. Survive on the moon tough. And yes, those are all real examples. Never mind being sprinkled with water – some of this rugged tech can be engulfed in friggin’ flames and still perform like a champ. But why keep talking about it when you can see it yourself? Check out the gallery below for all kinds of pics and video links. Pay close attention and you may even spot a Chuck Norris sighting.

I have read the books long time back but they are not so good as the twilight saga from Stepheny Mayor. It is absolutely interesting.Phlebotomy Training

Excellent read, I just passed this onto a colleague who was doing a little research on that. And he actually bought me lunch because I found it for him smile So let me rephrase that: Thanks for lunch! Melissa and Doug Easel

If Chuck Norris were a nerd, he'd own these things. Or maybe Wil Wheaton's Beard.

Look at the Brenthaven site; they make cases to protect quite the variety of items. It's difficult to believe that a soft sided case is able to provide that much protection.
I can also personally attest to both the durability and qualtiy of their products. Down a case of stairs and off quite the high drop; a then 15k computer boots right up with zero damage. One of the very few items that I would endorse. Don't walk any electronic item out the door without the near armored protection that is offered by these products

This is freaking amazing. I like how the Gameboy is on there. But, with all of this on here, there is one last question (and I was thinking this the entire time I was reading, and got a kick out of the last image): Will it blend?
