Article Request:
--Are there any pointers to give for maximizing a desktop SSD+HDD combination? In particular, Given a 250 GB SSD, should I install the OS and any programs that I want to run Fast on the SSD? Any tips for storing non-speed essential program data on the HDD while having the Same Program's corresponding speed essential data on the SSD? Or, what programs are not greatly benefited by being installed on the SSD due to their particular size or internal data accessing?
------ Examples for consideration might be Steam, Handbrake, VLC, commercial media players... Maybe some boxed games might be fine with some data on the HDD, etc., etc.
--- So, any tricks, tips, or advice?

If it matters,
My particular build will be the 250 GB SSD, an HDD, an i-7 3770K, 32 GB RAM, probably on an Asus P8Z77 V (something), and Win-7, and a nVidia card. (Sorry, this time, AMD.)
---
Thank you.

Oh, and, What else does a guy need to know about using an SSD?

There's not much specialized knowledge involved. Just run your OS off of it, and if you're using Windows 7 you should be good to go.

Don't bother with Mlink.in/Az, its the biggest rip-off you can find.

Also: Why can't MaximumPC do anything about the spam-bots?

We're trying to get rid of it, believe me. For some reason the anti-spam functionality of our site is not working correctly so we're looking at work arounds currently.

The did for a while. I believe I once targeted Paul with a profanity-laced rant a year or two ago.

The problem is they aren't bots. They're guys sitting halfway around the world in a shithole Internet cafe making a couple pennies with each broken-English only-an-idiot-would-click post.
