Tell Us Your Favorite Website, Win The Losers on DVD and Blu-Ray
We need your help, Maximum PC faithful. We're putting together a list of websites that everybody needs to see at least once, and we want your submissions. But we hate to ask for something for nothing, so, with the help of our friends over at Warner Home Video, we've got 20 copies of The Losers on DVD and Blu-ray to give away to people who help us out. Here's what Warner says about the film:
An explosive action tale of betrayal and revenge, The Losers centers around an elite Special Forces unit sent on a search-and-destroy mission. But the team soon finds that they’ve become the target of a deadly double cross, instigated from the inside by a powerful enemy. Making good use of the fact they’re now presumed dead, the group goes undercover in a dangerous plot to clear their names and even the score.

So how do you win? Easy! Just hit our Facebook page at www.facebook.com/maximumpc, and leave a comment with your choice for a site that everyone should visit, and a one-sentence explanation of why. The 20 entries that we like best will receive a copy of the movie, (either DVD Blu-ray, given out first come first serve). We'll judge the entries in terms of creativity (have we seen the site before?) and quality. Anyone who contributes a site that makes it into our final list will automatically win a disc. And Facebook haters, relax--we'll have more contests and giveaways soon, both here on the homepage, and on Twitter.
We're going to pick the winners next Monday (7/19/10), so you've got a few days to enter.

Wow. This is probably the best incentive you could have offered, MaxPC. I mean, you could have said "Here's half of a week-old grilled cheese sandwich if you help us out." Or maybe "We'll send you a free flat tire from a 1985 Chevy Cavalier." I would have been happy if I saw "Act now and get a bundle of the hair the plumber pulled out of the drain last month."
But a free copy of "The Losers"? A movie I've never even heard of, let alone want to see? God, you've got me pegged.

Tell them your favourite web site(s), but if you win, tell them to keep the movie for themselves, as the movie was complete & utter garbage!

WOW, what a list that's going to be.
Maximum PC readers are high power PC junkies and I bet between them all they've been to every website on the web. Now that says a lot. A list culled from this group is bound to be great.
Now, to think of a submission...
