There hasn't been any significant improvement in wireless rotuers for years. The competition has had plenty of time to tear apart the net gear package for years now. You would think someone would care about besting the best that has been on this pedistal for way too long.

The Asus RT-N56U Dual-Band Gigabit Wireless-N Router has been given top reviews around the web for performance.

Um, Netgear's WNDR4500 (3 radios for both 2.5 and 5 GHz) has been out for at least a couple of months now.  I don't know how it stacks up against the Trendnet, but you guys need to compare the latest tech to the latest tech.  Comparing against a WNDR3700 doesn't tell me a whole lot.  I expect a less capable router to not perform as well.

The router roundup appeared in our December issue. I reviewed the WNDR4500 for the Holiday issue, which came out next. You can read my thoughts on that product here, but it most definitely kicks ass.
