Black Friday 2009's Very Best Deals
Black Friday. It's big. There's a lot of shopping going on. You can acquire goods and services for far below the actual cost of the items. Unless you can catch said deals online, you will likely spend a lot of time fighting your peers for low-priced products. You might start to hate shopping. You might vow to never shop on Black Friday again.
Those are the ground rules. Let's get to the deals. As mentioned, there are a lot of awesome things you can pick up on Black Friday for a cheaper-than-expected cost. I've searched through a number of online sites to find just exactly what it is that's going on come Black Friday. I'll be listing out a number of awesome deals to check out below, as well as a handful of sites that you can check out to further supplement your tech-themed Black Friday purchases. I've really scoured the categories to find some great savings and great products--in the case of the storage category, for example, that's the most inexpensive capacity points you're going to find for those prices!
Anyway, enough reading. Let's get to the spending. Black Friday 2009... begin!

I had already ordered the cyberpower machine when this article was posted. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who thinks its a good deal.

The Logitech Illuminated Keyboard is foking grand theft at $30. Aside from an OLED, it's a fantastic keyboard.

It has TWO floppy cutouts! Do not see that very much these days. What was a floppy storage, 1.4 MegaBytes or something? Now THAT would damn useful in comparison to my 32GB flash drive!

well just off the top of my head what i would do with them, well there are 3.5 inserts for fan control's, or a 32 in one multi card reader, maybe a cup holder or hidden storage spot same kind that they make for the 5.25 slots comes in 3.5. and the list goes on, i modded my 3.5 for a hidden spot for my power, reset button and fan control nob. that just to name a few things you can do.

I keep a multi-card reader in mine. But what puzzles me is why mobo manufacturers keep a floppy slot on the board? The last two boards (my most recent is an ASUS M3A78-EM) I bought have one single primary IDE but still has a place for the floppy. I know EIDE drives have fallen in popularity as compared to the SATA, but how many people buy new dual- and quad-core boards and still use a floppy drive???

Computer cases still come with the 3.5" cutou for any number of things. From Memory card readers, to mini-tape backup drives. Floppy drives are still in circulation!
An unformatted floppy diskette held 1.44MB, once it was formatted for an IBM Compatible PC, it's capacity was around 1.38MB.
Don't laugh at the floppy diskette, it's not used much anymore, but it's a technology that still hasn't died off completely!

Haha, I just finished my Black Friday spending spree... Star Wars: KOTOR on Steam for $2.50!
BTW, it's tough to get excited about $100 off a Mac at the Apple store when you can order the same Mac from Amazon for $150 less than Apple charges any day of the year. Plus no sales tax.

Considering you could probably get $100 off any Apple computer using a Student Discount anyway and you probably can't stack discounts...
