The program runs, but the window doesn't open. Just leaves it on the task bar with the only options being to pin or to close. Could we have the manual Regedit method, please?

The worst one is when it tells you which directory to point to. And it's that one with the directory tree but no place to put the pathname.

It's not a problem at home usually, but at work, I have directories with 7+ subdirectories because of the way the project was organized.

How do I change the listing topics permanently in windows explorer in win 7?  Like the name, #, title  etc?  and also to permanently change it to list as "details"  and not thumbnails etc?

Holy crap thank you for posting this! I too always hated the Places bar. Rarely was it ever useful.
