The best Sound card. I know most mobos have their built in sound cards but for the true PC/Gamer enthusiast we still stick to our PCI Express sound cards, I know you review the cards how about adding them to this Best of the best list.

Thanks.

I agree that having a best of the best sound card would be nice.

How is the Acer Aspire S7 the best notebook? I could maybe see it being the best ultrabook, but I'm just not seeing what makes it better than the (gaming or anything with a discreet GPU) notebooks MPC tests which annihilate the Acer in benchmarks.

We consider notebook and gaming notebook two separate categories. They're both good at different things. Ultrabooks tend to tend be more affordable and portable whereas gaming notebooks are generally much heavier, have a heftier GPU, and are often times more expensive as a result.

Although I love the soprano's great thermals and noise cancelation, I personally prefer the aesthetics of NZXT's Phantom 410.

I disagree with the headphones. Turtle Beach PX5's are too versatile to pass up:

If you are married/have a girlfriend/ thin walls/ cranky roommates, they work perfectly.

I prefer this article for Best of the Best headsets:

Although I don't see the point in buying a gaming headset, I live alone nor do I have a girlfriend, actually I've never had one, never even been on a date and I'm in my late 30s, so 5.1+ speaker system is fine for me.

Are you happy with your 5.1+ speakers? What kind do you have?

You're not missing a thing.

Most wives/GFs these days, no matter how "happy," are always looking to trade up for an extra inch or two. The grass is always greener somewhere else.

Your pillow won't talk shit, run off with the manager at 7-Eleven, and take every last earthly possession you care about in divorce court.

That's very sad... I'm sorry for you.

I don't see what is so sad about it. The OP doesn't mention that he considers it to be a bad thing & there's always the possibility that he's getting laid without being tied down in a relationship that is a PITA; he could be living the dream that crappy "romantic" movies/shows tell us is impossible.

Come to think, even The Big Bang Theory (which has really gone downhill) tells us that all guys should expect to be domineered by their girlfriends/wives, expect their gfs/wives to consider their interests to be inane and expect them to go to lengths to block the interests of "their man" while expecting him to further their own.

...and that sitcom is hardly the only media production trying to convince us of this.

Lol you're absolutely right, Sometimes I think that Hollywood its leading the Way into broken homes. But it may just be that they represent the views of the society.

2 40mm drivers. 1 30mm driver, and one 40mm subwoofer on each side.
Also has vibration feature.
It also only costs $50, unlike the Razer headset which costs $170.

basketcase87

Comparing a $50 headset and a $170 headset isn't really reasonable. The Rosewill will save you quite a bit of money, while the Razer will give you more features and better sound. That said, this article is about the best, not the best value, so the Razer is what belongs here.
