As a PowerPoint replacement option, I would recommend Sliderocket www.sliderocket.com.  There is a free edition of it in their pricing and it works very well for some of the things I need.

There are a lot of free alternatives available for those who need free software. This blog post is a great start to free office software. :)

I have found another little known office suite called "SSuite Office". It is also free and has a lot of very useful applications included. :D

Since you're doing alternatives to Office programs primarily used in well...an actual office, it would seem you've forgotten about Publisher.  I've had good experience with Scribus; although, it's still a little buggy...

I only need one piece of software to replace MS Office, OpenOffice.org.
