Wow, I love picture number one... The one with the Chestire Cat from American McGee's Alice!

I am a little shocked to see no Pyramid Head Tattoos. He is probably by far the coolest character to have tattooed in my opinion.

If I were to get a tattoo... I would probably get the same body tatoo Ferril has from Bloodrayne 2. I don't know why, but I feel that Bloodrayne's sisters are cooler looking...  So I would get a tribal tattoo just like that. But I am not going to spend thousands of dollars to ink my body.

With that said, I feel that tattoos are not appropriate on a lady. I do not have tattoos, and will probably never get any. Tattoos on a woman is like looking hooked up Toyota with cool decals. I'd rather go for the more cleaner-looking Ferrari. Maybe I am just too old fashioned?

Status Bar tattoo's. How are they ever good looking no matter how big or small they are? Seems like the stupidest idea for a tattoo and quite a few of them have it across their whole chest. wtf?

That is pretty funny, I wonder how pissed off the person who got that tattoo is.  I'm pretty sure it's 623 + "punch", but while I'm a 2d fighter fan, I'm not big on SF.  I can't think of anything that is 263??

 

Also, what about the dude who has a "Then & Now" tattoo featuring a NES controller and a 360 controller? Bet he'll feel awkward in a few years when the 360 is old-hat. (Tattoo 22 out of 115)

Then and now should be Then and Also Then, so's to make it still relevant in the future. 

 

I don't have any tats myself, but I'd like to think that if I were to make a permanent alteration to myself, I'd put enough thought into to it to at least make sure I won't look stupid the rest of my life...

I totally agree with you. Most of these tattoos are shit, especially all the breast tattoos. I can't think of anything more tacky. When people ask me if they should get a tattoo I tell them: "No tattoo can fix what's wrong with your face."

I respectfully disagree, especially on women.

However, I wish fewer people got bad tattoos. Bad tattoos are ugly, and there are a lot of bad tattoo artists.

So true, too many people getting bad tattoos for all the wrong reasons as well. And it doesn't help TLC is making it look fashionable with shows about "dildo" artists, and 2 week tattoo schools!

People just need to put more thought in the tattoos, being the subject matter placement, and reason to get one. I have several and they were all thought out that have deep meaning to me, my heritage, and the service to my country.

I know several women that have tattoos and they can be tastefully done. Though I have seen girls that have turned themselves trashy getting a tattoo. As I said for the right reasons, and that old PC adage holds very trur here. GIGO. 

With that being said, the only tattoo I see here that I find interesting is "Alice" #1. Rest of them are just advertising trash!
