I grew up watching LIS, not realizing how campy the whole thing was.  Even then, though I knew Zachary Smith was a nimrod!

avatar

How about Lex Luthor, the world's greatest criminal mind? It takes a true geek to use a nuclear missile test to detonate the San Andreas Fault!

avatar

gugnheim

Dr. No, Goldfinger, et al.

avatar

big_montana

How about Ba'al from Stargate: SG-1? He clones himself multiple times, time travels to change Earth's history, steals the star gates, and this only scratches the tip of the iceberg of his evilness and geeky knowledge.

I really can't see how this list could be published without Agent Smith, HAL, Emporer Ming, or the T1000

...and sure...Ogre does deserve an honorable mention, although maybe not list material.

avatar

Jobe Smith

The Lawnmower Man

How depressing.  We ladies come up woefully short in the list of villains and when we managed to eke out a bit of silver or small-screen evil, we've been brainwashed, programmed, or are total sexpots without a really good reason to blow up the planet.  Granted, I didn't grow up with Marvel or have access to comics, but I'm hard pressed to come up with a really good female villain that doesn't read like a bad stereotype.

bowei006

Darth Vader from Star Wars.

avatar

You guy's are over thinking this thing.  None other than the original Terminator- Elmer Fudd.  That dude was relentless, merciless and carried a shotgun!

I'm gonna have to agree w/ Walter White on this one.... The other's were good, but a Chem Teacher driven to crime outta fear for his family's well being, and then end's up killing, maiming, and going completely over the edge... ya, that's the winner there.

avatar

arch20002013

Going to have to agree with dexter

avatar

bnacorda

Borg Queen, Khan

avatar

jiayanxiang

I will vote for Darth Sidious instead of Darth Vader.

Highlander!.."Their can be only one"

nuff said.

DasHellMutt

Walter White should definitely be #1 on this list. But what about Hannibal Lecter? You can't have a list of awesome as well as brilliant villains without that most perfect Anthony Hopkins performance.

avatar

clatto

How about Ozymandias from Watchmen, despite doing it for the good of humanity he still killed thousands.

avatar

MrSelatcia

"The Brain" from Animaniacs

avatar
