Last week was Computex, the annual trade show where most Asian electronics companies announce their hardware lineup for the coming year. It's an important event for the industry and for enthusiasts, but the show can be a hard to follow--the laptop-heavy announcements can get a little dry, and the show falls on the same days as the much-flashier E3.

Windows 8 is going to bomb big time, they better pray it takes off on tablets because traditional pc users are going to reject it.

I will most likely continue to use windows 7 on my primary computer and build a new HTPC that incorporated windows 8 on a gigantic display.

I agree on the first part. I dont dislike tablets, i want a ultrabook, but sometimes the tablet is just so handy. I like the transformer but doubt i would get it.

Actually, I disagree on both fronts. I see no fault in having a beast of a PC along with a tablet with Windows 8 (which really is much better than Windows 7 for touch optimized devices), if only for the touch capability.
